VIDEO: My Rebuttal to the President's Jobs Speech
Since the GOP opted not to give a rebuttal to the President’s big jobs speech tonight, I decided to make my own. It’s a little over four minutes long and contains many of the same themes in the sample rebuttal I offered yesterday, but I did have to do a bit of rewriting since Governors Walker and Jindal weren’t available to me.
Do forgive the amount of time I spent looking up and down. I recorded the video on the camera built in to my iMac and I had to remind myself where the camera was, since the Apple designers have hidden it so cleverly in the monitor. I also worked from a script, which I usually don’t do in my podcast. If I do this more often, I’ll have to remember to read less and look at the camera more.

Not only did you make more sense than the President, you didn't look like someone had stuck a steel rod through your spine and out your Keister.
Jimmie, you hit it right on the head! And who knows, conservatives very well may take your advice and tell the Prez that we don't need this kind of "help" to get the economy "jump-started". One can only hope and PRAY so…. Nice job!
[...] entirely was hooey. You can put Herman Cain among those not particularly impressed by the speech. I posted my own video rebuttal last night and I think it packs a lot more substance and optimism into four minutes than the [...]
Great Job!
Love your Perry the Platypus sign! What does it say?
Hey Jimmie,
I just woke up. Last thing I remember before I fell asleep in the TV room couch night before last was the POTUS greeting Congress and thanking them for the invitation he sent to himself to show up, as an alum, in order to practice his campaign speech. I understand he's running against Bush again; which one, I'm not sure.
Anyway, do you know anyone who may have taped the Packers/Saints game? It was rumored that the Packers won. Any truth to that?
