Clearing the Browser Tabs – Slowhand in the Morning Sunday Edition

Because this has been a long week for a lot of us and we could use something good for our hearts.

Because news gets heavy after a while and it simply doesn’t nourish our souls very much.

Because the sound of a guitar, played by a master, can make any morning good.

Because I dig you guys and I like passing along the good stuff.

Here is some morning Clapton, a live performance of his classic “Cocaine”. The inspiration came, of all places, from a Twitter conversation I had with my friends @killpundit and @Jenny_IDLYITW about Sherlock Holmes and his various addictions. It’s in my timeline if you want to read it.

Once you’ve drunk deeply from the well of that rock goodness, here’s a little dessert — Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Sting, and Phil Collins all on the same stage for “Money for Nothing”. The guitar solos should set you up for the whole day.

thanks for the link, Jimmie. Glad you liked my ranting and raving. Bloggers and conflicts of interest has been a news topic here lately so I thought I'd put some notes together.

Conflict of interest statements should be a staple on every blog – political or not.
