Clearing the Browser Tabs – Herman Cain Friday Edition

I have to admit, it’s a pretty good day when a Presidential candidate (okay, an almost-candidate) wishes you a Happy Birthday without prompting. I’m not the type to get easily starstruck and I think I’m fairly unusual among political bloggers insofar as I’m not terribly awed by famous politicians. However, Herman Cain isn’t a politician — as he made very clear to a number of us in a conference call last night. He is, however, a good man who has a real shot at being our next President and it was pretty cool of him to take a little time to wish me a happy day.

I’ll write up my notes on the call, including a number of quotes I furiously transcribed, some time tomorrow. Like last time, I have a lot to review and I need time to sort everything out. Cain had a lot of good things to say, and a couple things you might have not seen in the scant coverage the MSM has given him.

While America demands “Drill here! Drill Now”, President Obama has other ideas altogether.
Did the rich get richer over the past 30 years? Yep, and so did everyone else, by quite a lot.

April is mad at the TSA and she has very good reason. I can’t imagine why most of us aren’t on the verge of having a good, old-fashioned tar and feather party.
