Deliver for The Delivery – Halfway Home and Into Birthday Week!

| April 28, 2011 | Comments (5)

So, today is my birthday and, when I woke up this morning, I thought to myself, “Should I shamelessly use my natal day in a fundraising update post in the hopes that people will lavish me with more support?”

Clearly, since you are now reading this post, the answer was, “Of course!”

We’re halfway in to the grand experiment and about halfway to the end point I had in my head when I started. I think we can actually do better than I expected, but it will require a little bit of a push to get there.

And we can do this, folks. We can prove that right-wing new media can make it without sugar-daddies or tons of annoying advertising. I’d love to show the naysayers — and you know there are naysayers — that a conservative podcast that mixes politics with pop culture can be successful on its own.

Thank you to Right Girl, Duane Lester, and Stacy McCain who have spread the word on their blogs and said some very kind things about me in the process. Thanks also to my many friends on Twitter who have spread the word so far.

Don’t forget, I’ll have a couple or three audio goodies at the end for everyone who donates. They won’t be extravagant, but they will be unique and fun! You don’t want to miss out, so be sure to Deliver for The Delivery!
