Clearing the Browser Tabs — Saturday Edition
This is the battleground for the 2012 election, as envisioned by political prophet Larry Sabato. Pay close attention to those tan states — they will be where the Democrats will want to pour money and people over the next year, and where they will seek to launch their most vicious attacks against any Republicans who have even a ghost of a chance of winning.
My guess, though, is that they’ll have to change tactics fairly quickly because that’s not where the real fights will be. The Tea Parties will also be at work as they were in the last election, in places where the Democrats believe they are strong.
And that’s when the election will really get fun!
