The President released his budget this week and holy cow is it a monster. The outcry against it was so loud that he scheduled a press conference today to explain how it wasn’t nearly as bad as we think it is. It didn’t help, even with an extra helping of fear-mongering. In the end, Steve Eggleston is right: We’d be better off with nothing than with this bloated monstrosity.
