I was horrified to learn that Big Bang Theory was renewed for 3 more seasons. As much as I love that show, I'm worried about how this leeway is going to affect the show. :\ I think that after Caprica and the splitting of full seasons into .0 and .5 installments, I'm done with SyFy originals that I'm not already invested in, like Eureka. I'm tired of seeing Craig Engler twist himself into a pretzel on Twitter blaming viewers and making excuses about stupid things SyFy has done. While I agree that some British shows wouldn't translate well without a remake, his "proof"--the ratings of the Doctor Who Christmas Special, which aired in the US on a channel that <i>most people don't even have</i>--was flimsy and kind of insulting. Wow. That was a TL;DR way of saying that I'm not going to watch Being Human.
