There has been no major news in the last couple days about Andrew, who remains in stable (but critical) condition and in a medically-induced coma. Doctors have taken him off one medication and have reduced others and he’s tolerating the new regimen well, which is a small bit of good news. His family has no timetable for when he might be well enough to come out of the coma, but we continue to pray for the soonest recovery he can make. I know his family reads both Wendy’s site and mine, so if you have any words of encouragement for Andrew or his family, feel free to leave them in the comment section.
Some of the Take That Media gang, along with Canadian blogging superstar Kathy Shaidle, got together last Friday and recorded a special episode of Brass Balls Radio for (and about) Andrew and his family. I’m told that they listened to it together in his room over the weekend and they enjoyed it a great deal. I’m glad I was a part of it and I have posted a link to which you can either listen to or download the show. I was again astounded by how many people know Andrew and how many people are pulling hard for a full recovery. The young man has a long and bright career ahead of him. I very much pray that The Almighty will grant him a long life to show the world what he can do.
Brass Balls Radio 78 - For Andrew
UPDATE: As of Boxing Day, there has been no substantial change. Andrew is still in a coma, though his condition does continue to improve, ever so slightly. I know his family deeply appreciates everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
Thanks, also, to Stacy for the link. Keep it up, folks. Little by little, there is progress.
