Clearing the Browser Tabs – Show Prep Tuesday Edition
I have more than the usual number of links today. There were plenty of interesting stories, but I didn’t have much time to write. I spent most of the day making sure I wouldn’t have much work to do the rest of the week. I know, I probably should have saved a little for later, but I feel better knowing the work is done and behind me. In case something pops up. And it gives me more time to write and do show prep for tonight’s podcast in the long run.
I’m also working on a Secret Project for both this blog and The Delivery that I’ll likely roll out around the first of the year. I’ll have blog post up soon with the broad outlines of what I have planned and I’ll need your input on what you would and wouldn’t like to see be part of it. There. Was that a tease, or what?
And now, links!
- Remember the days when the MSM tried to scare us into believing there’d be no more snow if we didn’t hand over our lives to the Global Warming Cult? Good times…good times.
- If you’re investigating a left-wing “hate crime” and your only description of the suspect is a “white male with a thin build”, you’re pretty much hosed because that describes about half of the progressive left.
- Yes, we’re all tired of Paul Krugman, too. About the only ones who aren’t are Paul Krugman and his cadre of reality-impervious syncophants.
- Good news, everyone! According to DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, her people fight almost the whole year against those who are trying to murder us. Don’t you feel safer now?
- Andrew Malcolm is into Christmas reruns, but at least they’re good reruns.
- Chris Christie just gets better and better by the day. He did what Barack Obama should have done, had he had a little gumption.
- Their names are Ashraf and and Abul Azad and they are scum. They beat and threatened to kill a lovely young woman named Afshan Azad for the crime of dating a Hindu man. Afshan is Ashraf’s younger sister and Abul’s daughter. None of them are Lutheran.
- If you’re wondering whether Washington, DC will have a White Christmas this year, gaze intently into the Capital Weather Gang’s crystal ball.
- I normally gloss over those “How to Be A Better Blogger” posts, but this one is solid and recaps what you may already know without making you feel stupid.
- Well this is interesting. Take a look at the Ten Hottest PDFs of 2010.
- Here’s an interesting hockey stat: If your team is leading after the first two periods, there’s about an 87 percent chance they will win. If your team is behind, the chance they will come back to win in regulation is only 5 percent.
