Big NASA Announcement Tomorrow; Alien Invasion Fleet Takes Parking Orbit

Hmmm…

WASHINGTON — NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe.

The news conference will be held at the NASA Headquarters auditorium at 300 E St. SW, in Washington. It will be broadcast live on NASA Television and streamed on the agency’s website at http://www.nasa.gov.

I admit, I have no good idea what this revelation might be. I suspect that it might have something to do with the recent news that Rhea, one of Saturn’s moons, has an unexpectedly “oxygen-rich” atmosphere. There might be a hint hiding in the various specialties of the people slated to participate at the press conference, but likely not a very large one. I guess we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to hear about the discovery of our new alien overlords and their demands that we get off their lawn.

UPDATE: Wouldn’t you know it, but some folks taken my suggestion and have a couple ideas about what might be coming (thank you Kim!).
