Clearing the Browser Tabs - Top of the Tuesday Edition
Don’t forget, I’ll be recording The Delivery live on UStream tonight at 9:30 PM Eastern. I usually start the feed a few minutes early, so if you show up around 9:20 PM, you might catch a tune or two as I get everything ready on my end. We’re still testing the Take That Media live feeds so, if UStream is giving you trouble, you can at least hear the live show there.
And now, the links!
- Dan Collins is on the trail of a story that could be very, very big in the near future. Keep your eyes on this one.
- California is borrowing $40 million a day to pay people who aren’t working.
- The more I read about Mitch Daniels, the more I like him. He’d be an imperfect Presidential candidate, but I can’t remember when we’ve ever had a perfect one.
- Apparently, Ronald McDonald is trying to kill our children. Who knew?
- Obamacare was passed based on a whole raft of predictions. What if they were wrong?
- Quote of the Day, from Ed Driscoll.
- Pat Austin has a lot good to say about Laura Bush’s new book.
- Sure, money’s a good reason to finish a job, but this isn’t a bad little inducement either.
- I’m a big fan of Jonah Goldberg’s and I think that after watching this extended (and I do mean extended — it’s three hours long) interview with him, you’ll know why.

The thing that worries me most about Daniels is his unquestioning support for the Orwellian named "Merit based" judicial appointment process. It's not merit based at all, it's a sophism that allows the bar association and other far leftist groups to determine judicial appointments, and it's got to be stopped. We could win the Senate and the Presidency in 2012, by huge margins, and still lose everything to an activist, leftist Judiciary. If Daniels can't see that….I'm not sure I'd support him.
