Clearing the Browser Tabs – The Keithless Sunday Edition
Another week begins and the links are all lined up. Enjoy the day and try not to think too hard about Looming Monday.
- The Democratic Party’s favorite fiction writer Lee Fang is at it again. This time, his target are those big meanies who suspended Keith Olbermann. You can learn everything you need to know by noting the humongous correction at the beginning of the post.
- “Can You Believe It, They Screwed Up the Sidewalks”
- The carbon-trading scam is dead, but how long will it stay that way?
- Electoral wisdom from Moe Lane: “The central point is, don’t run too far Left for your district. And these days, voting for a liberal for your House leader is running too far for your district.”
- Apparently “historians and nonpartisan political observers” have been hitting the crack pipe way too hard if they rank Nancy Pelosi as the second-best Speaker of the past 100 years. Then again, their sole measure seemed to be whether a Speaker could “get things done”, which fails to take the important things such as whether those things were what the country wanted into account.
- Funniest headline of the week: “Obama calls for compromise, won’t budge on tax cuts”. (via memeorandum)
- This is an impressive rebuttal to the President’s Weekly Address.
- If you are a fan of the Washington Redskins (and still unafraid to admit it), then Rich Tandler’s Real Redskins blog should be at the top of your RSS feed. Rich is the real (NPI!) deal and a pretty nice guy, too.
