Hey, Anyone Remember The H1N1 Virus That Was Going to Kill Us All?
Remember last winter when the dreaded H1N1 Swine Flu was going to bring America to its knees? The panic, spread by a largely clueless media (video link), the usual government crisis-mongering, and left-wing conspiracy nuts, spread even to the floor of Congress where National Super Genius Sheila Jackson-Lee used the fear of tens of thousands dead to stump for Obamacare.
Well, you can cancel the Worldwide Red Alert, because it’s all over and civilization, believe it or not, barely sneezed. That seems to happen with a lot of crises ginned up by allegedly smart people working for the Federal government and pushed to the point of hysteria by a willing MSM (this, by the way, is not exclusive to the current administration). Perhaps we’ll remember the overhyped Death Virus the next time the MSM runs creaming at us, “OMG! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!”.
