Bikini Modeling Scandal Fails to Rock Anyone, Anywhere

Stacy McCain has a post today that contains three important observations.

1) A pretty girl in a bikini always gets blogospheric attention.

2) The notion that Republican women are dour puritans is a silly myth.

3) Republicans have developed one heck of a flinch reflex.

Stacy brings it home:

Conservatives are not only smarter and more patriotic than liberals, we’re also better-looking. It’s high time we stopped letting liberals get inside our heads and tell us that it’s some kind of “hypocrisy” for conservatives even to acknowledge the existence of sex.

Here’s a cluebat for you: Mrs. Other McCain and I have six kids. Do you think that might have something to do with the fact that the missus looked good in a swimsuit, to say nothing of my notorious Speedo? On what planet is that supposed to be a scandal?

Only on the planet Progressivor, where the only rules for sex is that you can’t have any if you’re a conservative because sex is fun and Heaven Forfend a conservative should have fun.
