This is an Ex-Party…err…Parrot!

I’ve seen more than a few clips of Lady Margaret Thatcher’s public speeches. This one, by far, is my favorite. She drove a well-placed dagger into the heart of the opposition party with perfect timing and just the right note of sarcasm. I suspect she would have made a mean comedienne.

After you’re finished laughing, go back and watch it again to see who got the joke and who didn’t. I’m pretty sure I saw her successor, John Major there, and he definitely didn’t get the joke at all.
