Happy Bloggy Birthday, Andrew!
This past Friday, my friend Andrew Malcolm celebrated his blog’s third anniversary. Top of the Ticket is a rara avis in the blogging world. It manages to read and behave like a blog even though it is backed by a major media entity and staffed with veteran journalists. It links, gives love to other bloggers, and mixes reporting, opinion, humor and sharp snark. Andrew, who does a good chunk of the heavy-lifting on the Ticket, is a genuinely good guy who is eager to share the insight he’s gained over a long career as a reporter and writer. I’m proud to consider him my friend and wish him decades more success.
Oh, before I forget, Andrew is also a podcaster, which means that he may well be the most new media-savvy journalist in the MSM right now. His weekly foray into the headlines with another fantastic blogger and friend Melissa Clouther should have an honored place in your weekly listening schedule.
