Please Welcome The Shack’s Newest Contributor.
In an effort to make The Sundries Shack a better place to find smart commentary on politics and pop culture, I’ve invited another guest writer to post here. Hey, it’s not going to get more smart around here with me as the only regular contributor, right?
My friend Lyndsey Fifield is young, smart, witty and plugged into political activism and pop culture from a vantage point I just won’t have. For one, there isn’t an activist bone in my body. For two, I have about a bazillion years on Lyndsey, which means there are parts of our popular culture I’ll never quite get because I am an old coot. For three, Lyndsey has a wellspring of energy and enthusiasm that will make The Shack a more lively and fresh place not only for me but for all of you. Also, she’s a pretty darned good writer and she’s excited about writing for all of you!
So, when she shows up, be sure to welcome her warmly (and, until then, read over her own blog a bit). I’m hoping she sticks around for a while and I’ll bet that you’re going to hope for the same thing before very long.
