Japan, You’ve Really Outdone Yourself This Time.
If the Internet has taught me anything, it’s that that the Japanese are an intensely strange people whose television programs defy description. I have no idea what the purpose of this program is (though I think it’s something like a cross between karaoke and “Puttin on the Hits” but I know that telling you that it’s a bunch of Japanese people singing We Are the World” doesn’t even begin to describe what you will see when you push the “Play” button.
And you really do need to push “Play” and stay for the whole thing.
