Our President, The Frat Boy
I don’t ask very much of my President, really. I want a strong Commander in Chief, a vigorous advocate for the exceptional qualities of the United States, and a fierce advocate for freedom everywhere. Above all, though, I want a President to have a certain amount of decorum, a core of seriousness that shows me our country is represented among nations of the world by a grown-up.
I don’t have that now. In fact, I’m beginning to believe that my President is barely a notch above a frat-boy, someone who has never held any real responsibility, who has never had to put his head down and work hard for anything in his entire life.
I could be wrong about that. It could be that Barack Obama isn’t like that at all. I don’t know. What I do know is that a mature party leader wouldn’t stand for something quite this sophomoric and crass on his party’s web site. Don’t get me wrong here. I’m no prude. I’ve been known to toss around a few curse words on occasion, even in public. I don’t mind some trash-talking either (Heck, I’m a Redskins fan who knows all the words to the most famous football fight song in history). However, the President has to be above all of that not because he needs to be a saint but because he represents the entire nation, including those who don’t agree with him. One of the things I most admired about George Bush is that he never really took a shot at the deranged left no matter what they said about him. I suspect that’s because he took his role as President of the entire country seriously. How can any President represent our nation fairly if their party is out there smack-talking a significant chunk of the country, or worse, the President is doing it himself?
In years past, responsible journalists would have called out a party that resorted to low vulgarity. We don’t have many of those anymore, though. Indeed, everywhere you look, journalists have decided to cash out their ethics to slip into a more partisan uniform.

"responsible journalists"
What are those?
There are a few. Just a few.
Amen Jimmie! Frat boy is a perfect analogy.
I linked to this over at Potluck. The gals will really like this one!
You nailed it alright. And the whole WH staff seems just as crass. Recall Gibbs cheering Biden on via Twitter. I can't wait till November when they find out what a really bfd this is.
