Happy Pi Day, 2010!
Today is March 14, which means that another Pi Day is upon us. Yes, today is the day we all get together around the Pi Day Pie (perfectly round, of course) and celebrate the many uses of everyone’s favorite irrational and transcendental number*.
What? You didn’t know that π had many uses? Well, just feast your eyes on this web site. You never know when you might need some of that stuff.
*Please, please, for the love of the Almighty please call in a math geek (or at least an associate math geek) before tackling the latter Wikipedia link. Seriously. I’ve been on “Jeopardy!” and that one hurt my head.
UPDATE: Holy crow, it’s also Obi’s Sister’s blogging anniversary! Her blog (which is quite good, by the way) is four years old today. Go on over and wish her well.
