Her Incompetent Majesty, the Dumbest Speaker in History Nancy Pelosi showed up on the soporific Charlie Rose Show last night to declaim that she can pass health care right now.
CHARLIE ROSE: The Speaker of the House believes health care will pass?
NANCY PELOSI: Yes. Today, I mean if we took it up today, yes.
ROSE: Today, OK. It will pass, OK.
PELOSI: Yes.
Forgive me if I don’t believe a word of that. See, if Pelosi could pass her totalitarian health care bill today, she wouldn’t have been on the Charlie Rose Show talking smack about how she could pass it. She’d have been in the House, you know, passing the bill.
Further, if she’s so confident that she has the votes to push this unpopular chunk of progressive offal down out throats, then why is she cooking up all sorts of tricky schemes to avoid an actual vote?
I’d love to sit down and play poker with Nancy Pelosi. I bet it would take me about half an hour to divest her of her fortune. Heck, I bet it would take a three year old child less than an hour. I don’t know what you call the opposite of a poker face, but she has it for sure.
