Dick Cheney Appears at CPAC. Horns and Forked Tail Not Visible.
So, I went to this little political convention this morning and you’ll never guess who showed up.
Yep, the Evil One Himself, Our Dark Lord Dick Cheney. He walked to the stage at the end of his daughter’s speech with a notable lack of sulfurous smoke nor the tortured cries of the damned. Nevertheless, the crowd recognized His Supreme Baby-Eatingness and greeted him with a thunderous standing ovation. He returned the love with a wry smile and a speech that, in the words of George Clinton, tore the roof off the sucka.
I hope to find some video later in the day. When I’ll do, I’ll post it.
Oh, and rumors that he saw the Media Matters plant in the hall and disintegrated him with laser beans from his eyes are not confirmed.

UPDATE: Here’s the video. I was on the balcony when he hit the stage and let me tell you, the video does not accurately convey how the hall exploded. Yeah, I cheered too. What can I say? I’m a big fan.
