Well, another year has rolled by and we’re on the cusp of one so new we’re still picking the cellophane off the case. I hope 2010 brings all of you every last ounce of happiness and contentment.
Thank you all for your visits and for spreading the word about my blog and my podcast. I’m looking to get even better at all of this and to give you even more to see, read, and hear at the year goes on. Stick around. 2010 is going to be a lot of fun!
Let’s ring in the new year with an old classic, courtesy of Robbie Burns. this isn’t the best version of Auld Lang Syne I’ve ever heard, but I thought it was touching. It was performed at the opening of the new Scottish Parliament in 2004 and was sung, at least part of the way, by the members thereof and other dignitaries. There’s something to seeing the folks there singing and holding hands that made me smile.
Oh, and if at some point you think to yourself, “Was that Sean Connery?”, you’re right.
