Congrats, Stacy, and May You Be The Most Frightening and Horrid Blogger of 2009!
Congratulations to Stacy McCain who is not losing a daughter so much as he is gaining an excuse to jet off to Argentina in the winters to report on various beach-related news events.
And while he’s accepting suggestions for names for the first child (may he be a masculine child!) I think Martin Luther Nestares carries a certain amount of defiance with it. Goodness knows we’ll need some of that “here I stand” mettle in the decades to come.
And while you’re giving Stacy your congratulations, you might also want to cast a vote for him. It seems a certain panic-prone ninnyblogger has nominated him for a yearly award of shame. Stacy, with a characteristic blow it out your ear maneuver, has decided it simply won’t do to be second most horrible blogger on the list. So go give him a hand.
