“Waaaaaaah!”, He Objected
If you’ve ever wondered what, exactly, is meant by the saying “Elections have consequences”, I give you the only explanation you will ever need: Senator Al Franken.
Witness his latest petulant act as he denies Joe Lieberman, the left’s newest person to blame for why they can’t cram government-run health care down our throats, a paltry minute or two to finish his thought.
The desperation from the progressive left (which is actually the mainstream of the Democratic party nowadays) is nearly palpable. I couldn’t be happier. Their infantile behavior is only the most visible sign that their dreams of totalitarian government are falling apart. Good for us.

pretty funny… of course on the left tv shows, they are showing clips from 2002 when a Minn senator asked if he could have a few minutes more time, just as Liebs did today. You will never guess who was the only person to object… Yep, it was McCain. I'll just say that again. John McCain did the exact same thing in 2002 to a senator from Minn when he was trying to debate against going to Iraq, you know, that war the republicans shoved down our throats. And when McCain said in 20 years he had never seen that, he was quickly corrected that it happened earlier in that day, not just when McCain did it to someone else.
Pretty typical of the hypocrisy of republicans…
Of course, in 2002, they were actually working under a procedural time limit, as I recall.
As well, that war was shoved down our throats by the likes of Bill Clinton and Democratic leaders of both the Senate and House. But you already knew that, didn't you?
