When In Doubt, Link Your Friends!
My brain is apparently on leave for a couple days and has taken my ability to write a coherent blog post with it. So, let me leave you with a few good links until I can get that absconding lump of grey matter back on the job.
1) John Hawkins has announced his 8th Annual Right Wing News Conservative Blog Awards. I like John’s awards, since they are decided by other bloggers, most of whom tend to be incurable blog junkies themselves. I can’t take much issue with any of the awards. If you’re looking for solid conservative blogs to fill your RSS reader, you could grab the entire “Best Blog Overall” category (plus mine, of couse) and do very well.
2) Sean Hackbarth is celebrating his 10th Anniversary as a blogger (or, as he would have been known back in the days of Angelfire and manually-coded pages, “weblogger”). He’s digging into his archives and has pulled out a couple nice little gems already. Check in on him over the next few days to see what else he unearths.
3) My friend Duane Lester, a newly-reconfirmed a right-wing guy, is running one heck of a Christmas giveaway contest at All American Blogger. It doesn’t take much to enter and the haul you can win is considerable. He has books, one of which carries a rather prestigious autograph, a DVD, and a year’s membership to Rush 24/7. This is not one of those el-cheapo prize packs. Go on over and enter. I’m guessing you’ll have a very good chance of bringing home the loot!

Thanks for the mention, Jimmie.
I look forward to giving all this loot away, but I need people to enter to win.
