At the risk of enraging Take That! Radio’s Twilight Corps, I am posting this clip of highlights from the RiffTrax treatment of Twilight. RiffTrax, for those of you who’ve not heard of it, is what became of the three core members of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew (Mike Nelson, Bill Corbitt, and Kevin Murphy). What they do is pretty ingenious, actually. Instead of riffing on really bad B-movies or short films, they riff on big budget movies that you probably have in your DVD collection already. You buy the mp3 download for a few bucks, pop the DVD into your computer, start them both, and enjoy the funny stuff.

Here’s what it sounds like (via Ace’s Open Thread).

The best line of the highlights (and there were a lot of really funny riff lines) comes at the end, where Bella and Willowy Vampire Boy are dancing:

“Oh, I hear some of you out there, folks, saying ‘But the story’s over. It was barely a story, but it’s indisputably over!’ Yes, yes, I agree, but if you’ve watched this long it’s assumed that you’re a teenaged girl who really wants to meet a sweet vampire boy herself, and this is just more marshmallow on your sundae. So take out your spoon and gobble it up: m ore sweet, marshmallowy goodness.”

That’s funny, right there. Just don’t tell Tabitha or Melissa.

Hilarity ensues now. I laughed when I watched that. Urmm I am not protecting you from Melissa or Tabitha wraths.

Aww…you won’t take just one bullet for me? ;)

My Philosophy is I pull you out of the bullets path but I am not going to jump in front of you to take a bullet. And No I am not going to get between Twilight Fan Women and their prey. They might make me go watch Twilight or New Moon if I am around.
