Episode 12 of The Delivery is available for all you discerning podcast connoisseurs. As usual, you can listen to it here, download it directly with this link, or drink deeply from the iTunes river.

This week’s show is easily one of the two best shows I’ve done so far. The first half hour segment went by in what seemed like five minutes. I jumped on the recovery.gov fake district problem with both feet. Seriously, folks, if our government can’t build a database with basic field edits for take over $30 million, how in the world can we expect it to handle health care? It’s a bill of goods we’ve been sold and I brought the righteous scorn. It felt good.

The second half was pure interviewing pleasure. Ed Driscoll joined me for a discussion of essential “guy” movies. What I didn’t know is that Ed has a deep interest in movies and a serious grounding in the history of the craft. He was a fantastic guest and I know you’re going to enjoy listening to what he had to say. The cover art reflects part of that conversation. So now you know we talked about Hitchcock, but which one of us brought him up and which movie did we choose? There’s only one way to find out. Well, okay, there are two, but the second one involves bribing me for the answer.

One of my listeners suggested that, even though I don’t do music in the show anymore, I still toss out a worthy music suggestion here. I like that idea, so here it is: the mid-show song, if I had one, would have been “Serpentine Fire” by Earth, Wind, and Fire.

Also, there is some very good news at the top of the broadcast. The Delivery has been syndicated and is now part of the strong Radio for Conservatives lineup. I’m immensely pleased to be there and plan to be in the chatroom when the show airs, Thursday night at 9 PM. Don’t miss it!
