Take a gander at this video, where the assembled health care activists from Obama’s first community organizing effort in Chicago pray to the President to give them what they want and to deliver them from their enemies.
That goes just a touch beyond creepy, I think. I’m pretty sure that God smote the ever-loving snot out of the Old Testament Israelites for much less.
Good thing God gave up the open fire and brimstone-level smiting a long time ago, huh?
