Now can we admit that the President has built a weird cult of personality around him? Take a gander at this video, where the assembled health care activists from Obama’s first community organizing effort in Chicago pray to the President to give them what they want and to deliver them from their enemies.

That goes just a touch beyond creepy, I think. I’m pretty sure that God smote the ever-loving snot out of the Old Testament Israelites for much less.

Good thing God gave up the open fire and brimstone-level smiting a long time ago, huh?

    Another article, (i think it was at pajamas media) last week, showed how the clergy in many mainline denominational churches is a part of this gamallel outfit.

    And there they are. Praying to Obama.

    And yo, does participation of many “mainline denominational churches” give you a clue that those pushing this video are off their rockers?
