Taxes and Honduras and DeLay, Oh My!
Episode 4 of The Delivery is up for your downloading and iTunes subscribing pleasure.
You’ll notice that today is, in fact, not Friday, which is when the show normally hits the intertubes. I had a brief conversation with mega-super Producer Mike Williams (t-shirt forthcoming) about the podcast and he suggested that moving it to Wednesday would be good both for Take That! Radio and my show. Now, I have a day all to myself and all the good publicity that entails. Also, he claims my show is very easy to produce (see? I’m not a problem child!), which means that he can go from raw tape to polished jewel overnight.
Did I mention the guy is good? Well, he is. Also, Wendy Sullivan rocks. Really, she does!
Lots of good stuff in the show this week. I could have done a half-hour just on Honduras, but I stopped short of the full on, Lewis Black-style rant. I needed to save the time and my general sanity. I think you’ll like the second half as well. Where else can you get a quick review of paranormal investigation shows and an attempt to make Tom DeLay’s cha-cha relevant to your life?
Nowhere. That’s where.
The mid-show song is “Tenth Avenue Freezeout” by The Boss and the E-Street Band.
As usual, I’m looking for feedback, suggestions, and requests in the comment section. Don’t be shy!

Now you're just sucking up.
I'm cool with that. Carry on…

I can't find the blog entry for episode 5 so I'm commenting here. I LOVE all the groups you mentioned…Staples Singers, Sam Cook, etc. So far, haven't heard you mention the Brooklyn All-Stars. My favorite by them is I'm A Pilgrim but couldn't find a copy on youtube to link. Also the Swan Silvertones & the Pilgrim Travelers. That's all I can think of right off…..good stuff!
Oh, the Birmingham Sunlights too
