Bertha Lewis Does Not Know the First Law of Holes

My guess is that very soon, Bertha Lewis is going to be eating these words on a big ol’ bun.

“Well, I absolutely agree with you, which is why as the CEO I took swift and immediate action, terminated those employees, because regardless as to what we know or… edited, doctored tapes and where you don’t see everything where finally people were thrown out in dozens of our offices, it is inexcusable, and indefensible, to sort of, have such poor judgment. That’s not our professional standards. That’s why those folks were terminated because all of my other employees, of course they did the right thing. They saw this ridiculous couple, who by the way were very aggressive and refused to leave some of our offices, but our other employees did the right thing. And so I wanted to make sure that people understood this is not who we are, we will not tolerate even two minutes of that kind of conversation, our standards are much higher, and in fact, these folks got thrown out of a lot of offices. So, this handful of employees, it’s unfortunate, but you know what, you can’t work for me if you don’t have common sense.”

And, as a aside, why did Lewis fire all those employees if the tapes were doctored? What poor judgement did they show if the tapes do not accurately show not only unprofessional, but downright criminal behavior?

Lewis has claimed before that O’Keefe and Giles (who shall evermore be known as the ACORN Slayers) were thrown out of other offices. Indeed, she said they were thrown out of the New York office, though a day later we saw them quite successfully getting advice on how to run a brothel full of young girls in ACORN’s Brooklyn office.

If I were Lewis, I’d be shutting the hell up right about now. Andrew Breitbart is not a stupid man. I’d bet good money that he has at least a couple more tapes that directly refute all of Lewis’ claims. He’s already done it three times before. You would think that someone allegedly smart enough to run a trillion-dollar operation would know that she’s being played.

Then again, this is the first time that ACORN has ever been seriously challenged without its protective shell of Democratic Congressmen.
