When I was in elementary school there were these girls who would cry, "Ewwwwww! COOOOTIES!" at the class nerds. Then they would say it to those who talked to the class nerds. Then they would say it to those who would talk to those who talked to the class nerds.

Eventually everyone had "cooties" but them.

That's Charles Johnson. All he's doing is pointing and crying "Ewwwww! COOOOOTIES!" at everyone who is not him.

What a pathetic, whiny little nine year old girl he truly is. Throw him a Barbie doll and get him out of here.

And yeah, what sort of conservatives would actually denigrate LINDSEY GRAHAM!

Ms. Reidhead, I freely admit I have not been a regular reader in the blogosphere for very long. Under- and unemployment drives one to strange and desperate hobbies. But from my earliest days of reading, it was evident that Charles Johnson had an ever-growing laundry list of accusations, annoyances, and archenemies and that on closer examination, the arguments he used to support his claims against said people or opinions were baseless. So even if one was completely unfamiliar with Stacy McCain's work, a quick review of Johnson's blog would very quickly erase any credibility his comments might have been given.

However, that being said, Johnson's ad hominem attacks are now beginning to cross the line from laughable into libelous. Good ole' Charlie must have little green footballs rattling around in the place of his brain if he takes every single word on "The Other McCain" seriously. That's what makes McCain's humorous postings so funny–they're snarky, satirical pieces written as straight news commentary. And not one of them, nor one of his honest-to-goodness news stories (the kind the MSM used to report so long ago), could even be remotely construed as racist.

This is not about anything Stacy McCain–or anyone else on the LGF hit list–said or wrote. This is about jealousy and insecurity, pure and simple. Every single person Johnson doesn't like seems to be a talented writer with a solid following. It seems to me as if he's decided the conservative side of the playground is just too crowded, so he's throwing a fit and stomping off to the liberal swingset, where being crazy is not only condoned but is actually applauded as an asset in all political candidates. But I'm betting the Kool-Aid drinkers on the other side of the fence are not going to be willing to play with him for all that long.

I hope Charles gets used to throwing around those little green footballs all by himself.

Your charges of racism are baseless. Stacy McCain is, by direct and personal experience, not a racist in any way, shape, or form. You should be ashamed of yourself for joining in the slander.

I'm sorry that your support for Lindsey Graham (who did enable Democratic racist attacks against Miguel Estrada) has blinded you.

It's not strange. It's sad.

I find conservative intellectual dishonesty so refreshing. There is a tremendous amount of information about Robert Stacy McCain and none of it is good. A certain group of conservatives denigrate Lindsey Graham, but praise a man with documented ties to Vdare, American Renaissance, and some of the nastiest "conservative" voices out there.
