President Finally Calls Someone a “Jackass” Who Isn’t Republican!
I think maybe the President should have stuck to his guns on this:
President Obama was giving an interview today to CNBC. An ABC reporter overheard the president call Kanye West a “jackass” for his dramatic interruption of the VMA’s Sunday night to praise a Beyonce video that did not win.
Said ABC reporter immediately Twittered the comment to a million or so folks:
“Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a “jackass” for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential.”
The problem with the tweet was that the conversation was off the record, which means that ace journalist Terry Moran wasn’t supposed to have been tweeting what he heard. But that’s okay. The MSM has “layers and layers” of fact-checking and hordes of professional journalists to make sure that gaffes like this don’t happen.
Meanwhile, it’s not bad for President Obama that he’s able to call a jackass a jackass. Now if he would do the same for Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, we’d really have something.
