AIP Blogging: Which Promise is the Real One?
My latest post at the AIP blog asks which presidential promise we should believe: the one that says “nobody” will take our health insurance plan from us or the one that says the government won’t force us to change.
Watching the President flip from one promise to the other, depending on what sort of audience he has, is a bit like watching a teenaged Lothario juggle two girlfriends. At some point you know they’re going to start comparing notes and when they do, there’ll be hell to pay. So far, the President is managing to hold it together but you can see his stories starting to fray around the edges and it’s only a matter of time before it all flies apart.
November, 2010 wouldn’t be a bad time for that to happen.
