Well, fostert...it sounds as if you'd rather die than give up your business and work for a large corporation.
Your life, your choice.

>>For me to get insurance, I have to give up my business and work for a very large corporation. At some point in time, this form of argumentation (lying and assuming bad motives) is going to start getting old and then what would you on the Left do?
Democrats in Congress specifically exempted themselves from being affected by HR3200 ... so the false point about wanting to give Americans what members of Congress have is just that. False. A lie.
And where did you get the strange idea that private insurance doesn't cover "anything"? Seriously? Why do people get it then? Just to waste their money? For fun?
Sorry you're sick. I do hope you get better.
I just fail to see how transforming the American healthcare system into some even larger and likely more dysfunctional (see Medicaid and Medicare - which are fast bankrupting the nation) version of the UK and Canada's own constantly failing government-run systems is going to help you.
The real aim of this so-called healthcare reform is not to fix healthcare, but money and creating a permanent dependent class. In the end, it's nothing more than a giant kickback scheme, creating a huge new thoroughly unionized government bureaucracy through which the Democrats can funnel trillions of taxpayer dollars and have substantial amounts kicked back to them via union leadership into their campaign coffers.
After seeing what that has done to the auto industry and the state of California that should terrify you.

[sarc]Yeah fostert, Jimmie wants you to die.[/sarc]

At some point in time, this form of argumentation (lying and assuming bad motives) is going to start getting old and then what would you on the Left do?

Democrats in Congress specifically exempted themselves from being affected by HR3200 … so the false point about wanting to give Americans what members of Congress have is just that. As for what Kennedy did when he needed surgery, well, the Massachusetts plan would pay for him to go to the Duke facility. Know why? It's the best for that treatment. Any insurance plan that actually provides coverage would certainly pay for treatment there. Many private plans wouldn't cover that, but many private plans don't provide coverage for anything. But why would he even take the Massachusetts plan when he already has the federal plan, which is known around the world as the gold standard of health plans? And like the Massachusetts plan, it's actually a government/private hybrid. You know, like what we'd like to give to everyone.
So here's a situation and it's me. If I don't get insurance, I will literally die from cancer. And without reforms, getting insurance is less likely than me discovering a new planet with intelligent life forms. For me to get insurance, I have to give up my business and work for a very large corporation. If I don't do that, I die. It's really that simple.
So tell me Jimmie, do you want me to die, or are you just willing to let me die to satisfy your political beliefs?

You know, what Conservatives for Patient Rights did was very gracious.
