Calling it Grassroots Doesn’t Make it Grassroots
My post at AIP today deals with another media misperception about grassroots movements, namely that they’re grassroots simply because the people organizing them say so. The Democrats are launching a big health careapalooza national tour with a big push from the Democratic National Committee and the biggest health care lobbying group in the country and, for some reason, The Politico thinks that’s grassroots like the town hall protesters.
