Okay, This is Just Neat

Catching a foul ball at a baseball game is a rare and precious thing. I’ve been going to games since I was barely old enough to walk (I took my glove to games until I was in my 20s) and I didn’t get my first ball until just this year, on my 41st birthday. I know people older than I who have been going to games since they were darned-near infants who’ve never ever gotten close to a foul ball.

So what happened to this young fan is nothing short of amazing.

Also, way to flash the leather, kid.

  1. If there is no video of your catch, I don't believe it.

Actually, it wasn't much of a catch. The ball was fouled back off the roof behind me and rolled back toward us. It ended up bouncing right next to me and I grabbed it up. Put a pretty nice shoulder block on a kid trying to sneak into the row of seats to get in front of me, too. ;)
