Voting Isn’t for Everyone, Including Would-Be Senators
If you one day aspire to high elected office, you should show at least a moderate level of participation in the democratic process before you decide to run.
I expect that the National Republican Senatorial Committee, delighted that another wealthy, big-government “moderate” has decided to run under its banner, will spend an inordinate amount of time explaining to us why you don’t have to actually vote in order to care deeply about the problems that beset us poor, benighted rubes. Meanwhile, that whooshing sound you hear in the background will be the last few scraps of the NRSC’s conservative credibility swirling down the commode.
Meanwhile, if you’re a California Republican and you’re looking to back an actual conservative who has a real chance of tossing Barbara Boxer out on her stylishly-clad ass, I know a guy who could use your help. He’s not filthy rich and the NRSC barely seems to know he exists, but he’s not too shabby on the whole citizen legislator thing.
