He’s Back on the Trail Because it’s What He Does Best
I’ll give President Obama credit for one thing: he knows where his strengths lie. The Democratic health care plan is dropping like a lead weight on Jupiter. Its most visible supporters are Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, which is like having John Merrick be the most visible supporter of Oil of Olay. Obviously, the President needs to throw himself in front of the avalanche and hope that he has enough to slow it down before August is done. How he’s trying to do that, and why it’s vital to him to be successful, is the subject of my AIP post today.
