As an Independent/conservative voter, I regarded him more favorably than most Democrats and often wished he was Speaker instead of her Royal Shrillness. I just wrote Rep. This proposed legislation is crazy long, and most Americans do not have time to read even highlights from it. However, as more and more details come out, it shows that it is exactly what the last health care reform attempt was - the first step to a completely socialized health care system. Contact your elected federal officials and tell them what you think. An email takes about 5 minutes. Write a letter, call, encourage your friends to do the same. If you do have one of the elusive public meetings in your area, go to it and make your voice heard. The First Ammendment rocks. Use it.
