Twitter Down, Workplace Productivity and Number of Attentive Pedestrians Up
If your workplace seems more productive today, and you notice that folks walking down the street seem to be staring down at their smartphones less than usual, there’s a reason for it.
Twitter is down due to a rather large DDOS attack. I say it’s large because it would have to be to bring Twitter to its knees.
So, those of you who are getting some sunshine where you are, today looks like a pretty good day to get some rays on that pasty white skin during your lunch hour, then come back and dig into a couple of those low-priority projects you’ve been putting off. The good news is that your boss probably doesn’t know anything about Twitter (the higher-up muckity-mucks usually don’t) and you’ll get credit for being an eager and enthusiastic employee.
