The Health Care Debate, Starring James Brolin as the Democratic Party

| August 5, 2009 | Comments (4)

When did the Democratic Party start acting like the drunk, abusive father (usually played by James Brolin or that actor from “Wings”) in a Lifetime Channel movie? All I’ve heard for the past couple days from folks with a “D” behind their name is how we’ve gotten too big for our britches and that we need to remember our place or else. Yesterday, the White House rolled out a brand new e-mail address where you can inform on your siblings friends and neighbors. I have to admit, I’m not very excited about the Tattlers for Truth campaign, or whatever the President is going to call it.

And now the President is calling on all good little girls and boys to tell everyone what a good Daddy he really is. Before you rush to that, though, you’ll want to be sure you hide the bruises from the Dems’ Stimulus Bill and Cash for Clunkers schemes.

Just remember, when you dress up to do what you’re told, don’t dress up too nicely. Only shills of the Evil Insurance Companies dress in suits.

Jimmie, you're awesome. So much right-on-the-mark sarcasm in such a small space! I love it!

Maybe everyone needs to follow the example set by your fellow blogger at Miss Beth's Victory Dance. She decided to "snitch herself out" to our comrades at the White House:

Maybe all those people wearing foil on their heads to keep their thoughts secret from the government have a point. . .
