Mike Allen is a bit behind the curve on this story, which I suppose is understandable. What professional journalist would ever be interested in finding out that Jesse Griffin, the guy who pushed these and other rumors about Sarah Palin and her family had a long history of playing fast and loose with the truth, even with his own blog readers?
