I Guess Jim DeMint Wore His Bullseye Underoos This Week
Jim DeMint must really be getting under the skin of some pretty prominent people. First, the President decided to take him on, with hilarious results. Then the DNC ran not just one but two dishonest campaign ads.
Now the Washington Post has run an editorial cartoon portraying him as a crazed sniper (via Amanda Carpenter). It’s like Journalists Gone Wild out there, not that it’s entirely unexpected.
Still, DeMint must be doing right to have all the right folks taking nasty little potshots at him.

Personally, I think the Obama administration & DNC needs to go back and reread the Harry Potter books. It didn't exactly work out all that well for Voldemort naming the one with the power to vanquish him. Our Dark Lord in DC didn't exactly have a banner week and Jim DeMint got lots of attention. I guess they have to send out the media now to see if they can knock him back a peg or two so he's less of a threat.
