Help a Democrat? Oh, You Betcha!
My weekend post at the AIP blog looks at the widening fault line between the Democratic leadership in the House and a small number of Blue Dog Democrats (read: those who tend not to like multi-trillion dollar deficits well into our childrens’ lifetimes). The rift is a serious threat to the Democrats’ health care takeover and it’s getting worse thanks largely to the omnipresent arrogance of Henry Waxman (D-Supreme Soviet).
So far, the Blue Dogs are hanging in there, but they could use some encouragement to make sure their backbones remain infused with steel. Give my post a quick read. There’s a way there to give them the atta-boys they need.
UPDATE: Meanwhile, the President is still slaying his army of strawmen.
