Color Me Doubleplusunsurprised
Perhaps instead of writing about the shocking — shocking — bias among conservative opinion writers and talk show hosts, the Media Matters minions of George Soros should actually sit down and read 1984. Or perhaps they already have and figured that a “Two Minutes Hate” of their own sounded like a darned fine idea.
Ed Driscoll is not at all surprised that progressives are unconsciously recreating Orwell’s nightmare world and neither am I. Once you get it in your head that you’re smarter and wiser than everyone else, it’s a very short taxi ride to assuming they’re all a bunch of blithering idiots who can’t form an opinion unless you shove it down their throats, “Two Minutes Hate”-style.
