Just Because You Can Create a Bazillion Crises Doesn’t Mean It’s Smart

You know, maybe if the President didn’t spend a few trillion dollars, then launch a two-pronged attack to take over nearly the entire economy with cap-and-trade and nationalized health care, his people wouldn’t be so exhausted they can barely stand up.

I’m with Melissa on this one. The President and his people need to pull on their big boy pants and do their jobs competently. If they’re biting off too much, then perhaps they shouldn’t create quite so many crises. Yeah, I know that they won’t be able to go full Alinsky and their little progressive hearts will simply break from having to live in such a filthy non-utopian hellhole, but at least they’ll survive the trip with their sanity and health intact.

Of course, if they’re carrying a humongous martyr complex, maybe they don’t care if they burn themselves up creating their perfect world. I think we’d rather they backed off the march to statism a few paces, though.
