I’m not quite ready to put the Playboy story to rest, at least not without directing you to a couple of posts by Little Miss Attila.

This post is a thing of beauty, though it’s very likely NSFW. Near the end it’s definitely NSFAFS*. She carries the anger at Guy Cimbalo’s rape fantasies I expected we would see from the usual screechers among the “grrrl powah” movement. Except NOW, et. al. has been pretty quite, haven’t they? It’s as if their support of women’s rights depends entirely on who the women are.

This post is more measured, but just as powerful. Little Miss Attilla is not especially a fan of Michelle Malkin, but she realizes that when a woman is the target of violence, you shouldn’t stop to consider whether you agree with her politics or not. I’m not actually praising LMA for that, though (nor do I think she would want praise). That’s what you do when you’re a decent and civilized human being. I only wish more folks were as decent and civilized as LMA.
