Rule 5 Sunday Goes Old-School

Thanks to James Lileks’ review of an old Glenn Ford black and white mystery movie, I was reacquainted with Geraldine Brooks. She’s definitely not a household name, but I’ll bet that you’d recognize her once you saw her on the screen. I’m kind of sad that I had forgotten her, really. She had “it”, whatever you want to call “it”, as you will see when you hit the Lileks link and read down a bit.

She was also a stunningly lovely woman.

Kind of “girl next door”, don’t you think? Oh, but she glamours-up very well.

She did a lot of television work. Did I say “a lot”? She practically owned 60s and 70s television. I think I’ve seen most of those series (did I mention I like old television shows?) and I’m pretty sure I’d recognize her in any of them. Who wouldn’t?

Nice legs. Also, you can bet she’d laugh at your jokes.

Yes, my geek friends. She’d probably go to the RenFaire with you and dress up to boot.

Did I say she was stunningly lovely? I wasn’t lying.
