biden-specter-happyEagerly-courted Democratic Senator Arlen Specter says it’s the fault of evil research-slashing Republicans that Jack Kemp is dead today.

“Well, I was sorry to disappoint many people. Frankly, I was disappointed that the Republican Party didn’t want me as their candidate,” Mr. Specter said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “But as a matter of principle, I’m becoming much more comfortable with the Democrats’ approach. And one of the items that I’m working on, Bob, is funding for medical research.”

Mr. Specter continued: “If we had pursued what President Nixon declared in 1970 as the war on cancer, we would have cured many strains. I think Jack Kemp would be alive today. And that research has saved or prolonged many lives, including mine.”

Moe Lane says exactly what needs to be said to the Democrats’ New Superstar.

Jack Kemp isn’t even buried yet; and he had nothing to do with the current political situation, you disgusting piece of partisan slime. I don’t expect truly civilized behavior from you anymore, but I did foolishly think that you could be trusted to show more delicacy than a hyena at the passing of a former friend.

Yes, ‘former’ friend. I have liberal friends; if one of them should die before me, I won’t be using his or her death to push the GOP’s agenda. That’s because I’m a decent human being, and you’re not.

Not that he’s listening. He’s way too busy lining himself up for a cozy little spot in the leadership of the Democratic Senate.

Hmmm…it seems I’ve used the word “Democratic” three times in this very short post. Well, that’s because it’s very important to know that this ghoul, who would use the unburied corpse of Jack Kemp like a marionette to try to bolster his boilerplate-liberal, crap-laden point, was the object of determined and intentional wooing by the party and the White House.

I hope that conservatives ram the disgusting little troll right down their smarmy throats. They bought him; they own him.

UPDATE 2: The Wall Street Journal fact-checks Specter into next week. Not only is he a weasel, he’s a dishonest weasel. Big shocker there.
